AI in Education
Earlier this year, Ofsted released research highlighting insights from early adopter schools experimenting with AI in Education. The headline was clear and uncompromising: “The biggest risk is doing nothing.”
AI in Education is no longer a distant future concept, it is here, shaping classrooms, influencing pedagogy, and redefining the ways teachers and students engage with knowledge. Yet, with rapid opportunity comes a heightened risk: the emergence of a new digital divide, where some schools confidently embrace innovation while others fall behind.
This project exists to ensure that schools are not left at that crossroads. Building on the success of the initiative run by eduthing in collaboration with the Schools Alliance for Excellence during the 2024/25 academic year, which has been nominated for the Transformational Impact Award at BETT 2026, we aim to demonstrate that AI adoption in education can be purposeful, safe, and transformational – when done with integrity and intent.
