As part of eduthing’s growth, we have welcomed a number of businesses into the group. These acquisitions have allowed us to bring together more experience, expand the services we offer, and support schools in more areas across the UK. Each business continues to play an important role within eduthing, helping us provide a reliable and comprehensive service to the schools we work with.
In June 2023, eduthing completed its first acquisition with the purchase of Mint Support, a well-established provider of IT services to schools across Yorkshire and the North of England. This strategic move marked the beginning of our acquisitions journey, strengthening our presence in the region and expanding the support we offer to schools.
Today, the former Mint Support office operates as the eduthing Northern Office, continuing to serve local schools with the same trusted expertise, now enhanced by eduthing’s wider range of IT and education services. By combining Mint Support’s strong regional relationships with our national resources, we’re able to deliver even greater value, innovation, and reliability to the schools in the North.
In February 2025, eduthing acquired Trust IT, a well-established IT services provider with over 15 years of experience supporting schools and public sector organisations across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Following the acquisition, Trust IT’s operations and staff were fully integrated into eduthing, ensuring continuity for their customers while expanding the services available to them. Schools that previously worked with Trust IT now benefit from the same trusted support, strengthened by eduthing’s national resources, broader service offering, and commitment to delivering innovative IT and education solutions.
In July 2025, eduthing welcomed United Network Technologies into the group. With experience as an IT distributor and managed service provider, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering trusted technology services across government, public sector, and education.
The acquisition further extends eduthing’s reach in Essex, bringing additional expertise and resources to support eduthing’s schools nationwide with reliable IT services and solutions.
